If your looking for natural, heart warming newborn portraits, you’re in the right place.
Those first days with your baby are emotional, exhausting, and incredibly fleeting. My role isn’t just to create beautiful images—it’s to take the pressure off you entirely. Complimentary maternity session with every Newborn session booked before Mum is 30 weeks.

What Are You Going to Do With Your Portraits?
Most parents know they want beautiful newborn photographs… and that’s usually where the planning ends.
The result?
USB drives tucked away in drawers.
Digital galleries that never get printed.
Products bought with good intentions but never displayed—because life as a mum rarely allows time to tackle an ever-growing to-do list.
That’s where my approach is different.
Here, we start with the end in mind.
Before your session, we talk about how you want to use your images:
- Where will they be displayed in your home?
- Which portraits will be gifted to grandparents or loved ones?
- What will you want to see on your walls every single day?
By planning with intention, every image we create has a purpose. You won’t waste time or money on products that sit in a drawer or files that never make it off your phone.
Instead, I help you narrow choices, simplify decisions, and create portraits that truly belong in your home—both in style and in meaning.
You’ll walk away with photographs you’re genuinely obsessed with, and an experience that feels calm, thoughtful, and completely taken care of.
Because you deserve more than just images—you deserve peace of mind.
Your Investment
When you book a newborn session with me, your experience is thoughtfully split into two simple stages. This allows you to relax, enjoy the process, and make confident decisions after you’ve seen your finished portraits.
1. Session Fee — £195
The session fee secures your place in my studio and covers the time, care, and expertise that goes into creating your newborn portraits.
-
Paid at the time of booking (most families book around the 20-week mark)
-
Non-refundable, as it reserves your session date and my availability
As a thank you for booking early, all newborn sessions reserved before Mum reaches 30 weeks include a complimentary maternity session.
Your maternity portraits are presented alongside your newborn images and can be included in the final collection you choose.
2. Portrait Collections & Artwork
This is where you choose the images and products you love.
It is due two weeks after your newborn session, we'll arrange a google meets call to view your online gallery, select your portrait collection and any artwork from the comfort of your own home. The Experience
1. Consultation & booking
Your experience begins with a relaxed phone call or FaceTime consultation, where we’ll talk through your vision, who will be photographed, and how you’d love to use your portraits. I’ll personally guide you through the pricing guide and help you select the collection that best suits your needs. Once you’re ready, we’ll secure your date and time, complete your client details, and confirm your session with the session fee.
2. Styling support
Once you’re booked in, the planning begins. You’ll receive a beautifully curated session guide to help you prepare, along with personalised styling advice to achieve the timeless, elevated look you see across my website and socials. You’re welcome to send photos of outfit options, and I’ll recommend combinations that photograph effortlessly and cohesively. Maternity clients may also choose from my exclusive studio gown collection.
3. Photoshoot day
On the day of your session, your only job is to arrive calm, relaxed, and ready to be taken care of. Settle in with a hot or cold beverage, put your feet up — you can even sneak in a little rest — while I focus on creating refined, emotive portraits you’ll treasure for years to come.
4. Viewing & ordering
Approximately two weeks later, we’ll meet via Google Meets for your private viewing appointment. You’ll see your images for the first time, choose your favourite portraits, finalise your product collection, and complete your order — all from the comfort of your own home.
Frequently Asked Questions
The first question most clients ask is: "How can we book a session if we don't know when the baby is going to arrive?"
It’s really very simple.
When you book your newborn session, I pencil in your due date. This allows me to keep a session available for you two weeks before and two weeks after your due date. That way, no matter when your baby arrives, we always have space for you during that four-week window.
Dad’s job: When baby arrives and Dad is busy texting family and friends to share the news, he just needs to add me to that list. Once I receive the message, I’ll reply with something like: “Congratulations — your photography session is Tuesday at 10am.”
Easy, stress-free, and one less thing for you to think about.
Where does the session take place?
All sessions take place at my home-based studio in Hayes, UB3 2TH — a calm, warm space designed with new parents in mind.
Having experienced childbirth myself, I understand how tender those first couple of weeks can feel. For that reason, the studio is set up to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible. There’s a cosy sofa positioned right next to the coffee machine (where most dads tend to snuggle up — and often fall asleep), while still offering a clear view of where I’ll be gently posing your baby.
This means you can rest, watch the session unfold, enjoy a hot drink, and know your baby is always close by — while all the magic happens in front of you.
How long does a session last?
Maternity sessions usually last around 1 hour. Newborn sessions typically last between 2–4 hours. Newborn sessions are unhurried and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles, and settling. There is never any rushing — your baby’s comfort always comes first.
What should we bring to the session?
You’ve packed your hospital bag — now it’s time to pack a photography bag.
After booking, you’ll receive a detailed session guide that walks you through the entire process, what to expect in the studio, and includes a simple checklist of what to bring. I recommend packing this bag as soon as you can after booking, before going into labour. Trust me — once baby arrives, having this already prepared makes the whole experience so much smoother.
What happens after the photoshoot?
Following your newborn session, we’ll schedule a viewing appointment so you can see all your portraits from the comfort of your own home.
At your appointed time, I’ll call you and email a link to your online gallery. We’ll watch a slideshow of your final images set to music — I challenge you not to shed a tear! Once you’re happy, you’ll confirm which package you’d like and make payment.
Orders typically take 1–4 weeks to be professionally produced. When everything arrives, I’ll send you a text to arrange a convenient date and time for you to collect your finished artwork and images.
